Happened on the TGV from Milan to Paris. Sounded like somebody dropping something really heavy on a concrete floor. You can see the point of impact in the top center. (Entirely possible this was not a stone, but I have no idea what else it could have been)

That is really weird to me then... As you would think any stone kicked by the train would be going near enough to the speed of the train to not hurt that glass...

I'm thinking it wasn't kicked by the train but from somewhere else. Like I said in the post though, I really have no idea what it was, that was just my best guess.

The best part is that after this happened, another train broke down ahead of us and for some reason we had to stop for an hour and then carry all of our stuff over to another train through the snow. I didn't post about it because I figured oppo is annoyed with my transportation horror stories/wouldn't believe how ridiculous my life is being right now.
