[Click for uncropped image] UPDATE: Well, well, well... !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! has them all identified... Commenters below were damn close and I need my eyes checked...

Tyler's post with the amazing Blackbird+Tomcat+Phantom flyover photo got me snooping around China Lake via GoogleMaps and I found a small scrap yard on the SE corner of the airfield. How many A/C can you ID?

I can only ID a few... Tomcat, Phantom, Prowler? (Nope-Intruder).... What are the two hulking bombers?

Taking a guess that the big ones are B-29 (l) and C-97 (r).

Two A-6 Intruders, one RA-5C Vigilante, one F-8 Crusader, one QF-4N Phantom II, one F-111B, two T-39 Sabreliners, two R4D Skytrains.

The less complete bomber might be a B-29 or B-50. The one towards the top, I'm not sure, possibly a C-97 or KC-97?

According to this , it's B-29 #44-70102 Here's Hoping . Wikimapia tags the other as a KC-97G.

I think this one is a T-1 Jayhawk . It's the primary trainer for pilots who will fly multi-engine jets like the C-17.

Maybe a T-39A Sabreliner ? Check out the wikimapia link I updated the post with...

The Wiki doesn't ID this one. I think the one above both it and the F-4 is a Sabreliner. I'm fairly certain they are different planes. It may just be the angle of the sun, though.

oh. i wasn't even questioning your accuracy. just pointing out how narrow the overall angle is on the swept wings. im not an expert on fighters and bombers.

so... i guess...

that aardvark sure is pointy! (not sure if that sentence has ever been uttered before)
