Make/Model: '11 Mazda 3 S HB
Wheel/Tire: Stock 17s, Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval
Mileage on tire: about 7000
I've wrapped this car in 3 different sets of tires since original purchase in 2011. The original stock Yokohamas, Kumho Ecstasy, and now these. Changed the originals at 17k miles. Got ripped up real quick. My fault, but they were thin tires to begin with. Great in the summer, super sticky for stocks, but turned to shit the next winter. The kumhos... Didn't lose a lot of tire fast, but they lost their snow appeal after one winter.
These Firestone's on the other hand are fantastic. They aren't excellent in the summer, but I don't ask that much of my car, in the winter and heavy snow, like today, they triumph as all season tires. I never thought I'd be able to say that about an all season, but they're willing to take on the untreaded side of the street without much quivering. They're notperfect, but they exceed my expectations of all season tires. They have some sex appeal, too. If anyone is in the market for these, I give my winter stamp of approval.

I put Blizzeks on my Genesis a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier
