Remind your friends and family NOT to drive into flood waters. People get into trouble that way.

Yep, St.Charles is drying out pretty quick, luckily.

Agreed, I live in North Ofallon and it hasn't been bad here, except for Sunday when I-70 was closed. But even then it wasn't too bad with 364 being open.

I’ll actually be going through the area tomorrow to go see my girlfriend down in SoIL I’m gonna have to watch for the road closures, it’s been a year sense I’ve been the area other then visiting

Depending on closures down in south StL county, I would just take 270 up & around to 255. But for sure check on it as you get closer. They were talking about closing parts of 55&44, that’ll back traffic up beyond south section of 270.
I was on north side of 270 towards Illinois and it was all fine.

I’m heading down towards Sparta IL so I gotta watch out for the Kaskaskia River.

You can go ahead and blame my dad for the bad wearher. We are currently on a family trip to Florida, and everytime he leaves St. Louis the weather turns sour. Last time we got 14 inches of snow right after new years in 2014. The time before that we had the tornado that ripped through the Harvester area. Thankfully St. Peters stayed mostly unflooded.

You should have seen Dardeen Creek on I-70 just past 79 Sunday.
We headed East around 10 water was approaching highway & the 79 entrance ramp, when we came back through it was shallow all the way across the highway. They shut it down shortly after, then both sides, were shut down until Monday afternoon.
I've never seen it that high.

Then you'll be probably going right through I-64 into IL. Good luck and be safe tomorrow night.

One of my good friends took this shot. One of my other friends who lives by Woodlands took his canoe through the park since the water backed up to his back yard.

Ya, I’m afraid to take 64 to IL Rt 4 and go down because there is some low spots with possible high creeks

I don't know how that cavalier in right ended up backwards. It was like that when we drove by at 10AM.

Soooo glad I live a few miles from work, and don’t need any main roads to get there. Two of my bosses live in Fenton and were trying to figure out how the hell to get home with 141, 44, 30/Gravois, and 21 all shut down. They didn't accept my offer to crash in my (surprisingly dry) basement.
