There’s this annoying ass scruff in my fine German leather. Does anybody know how to get it out to fuck off?

It’s pretty small, but I used my NCIS zooming in and enhancing skills to make it look big.

kthxbai, pls halp.

also kjinja, ur a little bitch ass fuckk

You can see it in this picture also. It’s pretty small, but it’s presence bothers me. Does Leatherique fix this kind of thing. (Not Leatherique the hooker)

Easy, you scuff the rest of the seat to match.

I bet the foam underneath is the same color as the seat. Just cut it out.

Also. buy one of these.

I wanted a BFI shift knob when I had the A4, but I’d prefer one with the same color as the current shift knob in it.

Did you try turning it off and back on again?

Looks about 3mm by 3mm. Clean the area with some IPA. You’ll need a leather colourant/dye and sealant (should take about three hours on a warm day). You can bypass the sanding, filling and smoothing process.

Here’s a guide for the whole process but as I say you shouldn’t need sanding or filling.

That was the original plan, but it had to go. I don’t think I told anyone here about that, haha.

It was a special car to me. Taught me a lot about everything, but after thinking about it a lot, I decided to go ahead and sell it. I don’t regret it and I don’t have a longing for it, it’s more bittersweet than anything. It went to a good home, to an owner who’ll keep taking good care of it and that was important to me. I wasn’t going to sell it to some kid or something.

Ah ok. Glad it’s gone to a good home.

No worries. It’s a simple enough job to do, but take your time and keep some IPA to hand to remove anything your not happy with. Also if the leather is tired or dirty, give it a thorough cleaning first.

Trust me it’s nothing like trying to repair a cigarette burn to a roof lining. Lol.

I was gonna say, at the dealership I used to work at, some folks would come by and fix small blemishes like that in leather all the time.... Good to know someone here is hip to that process...

I’m particular about mine and my friends cars. I clean them and maintain there appearance. As long as it’s not too severe I will do the repairs. There are people out there that will charge a fortune and still do a crap job.
