As I returned from a parts store and sub shop with my lunch, I entered the build the same time as a group of 3 other people. the first guy went for the stairs as the othres waited for the elevator. They made some sort of comment like ‘wow hes doing the stairs’. Here I am like wow good for him, expecting him to go up a few flights. He went to the second floor. I can’t believe the other were not only amazed by this athletic feat, but didn;t join in themselves. So please Oppo, do youself a favor and take the stairs, especially if its only to the 2nd floor.

Also, elevators can get stuck and consume your soul.

Stairs can’t do that.

i got stuck in an elevator leaving work on a friday to get beers with some co-workers. we were there for almost 2 hours, without any beer

I work in a four-story office building. There’s really no reason for any able-bodied person to be ysing the elevators at all here, yet we have four of them.

That said, I don’t take the stairs 100% of the time either and boy was I glad to have the elevators when I blew out my back a few months ago.

well injuries are another thing. I’m on the fourth floor as well. i us it probably 90% of the time

In college I lived on the 11th floor of a 14-storey dorm. Nothing pissed everybody off like the jerks that took the elevator to 2. Funny, only freshmen did it and that was only for the first few days of fall semester....

But in the U.K. the second floor is twice the distance than it is in the U.S.

So I’m taking the lift/elevator. Lol.
