On a scale of James May to Ken Block, how much oversteer did you get?

I used to put a 455 Olds engine (intake to the pan) in the trunk of my 1977 Olds 98 for winter traction. This inspired an old college friend to drive around with about 1,200 lbs of scrap steel in the trunk of his early 80s Bonneville!

I’d put the 455 in the engine bay and the little 305 in the trunk.

I always planned to replace the stock 350 Olds with the 455 when it died... but the damn small motor ended up being immortal!

I know! The 305 has already done 253 thousand kilometers.
