You may mean the 1994 Supra, 1990 was still the third gen and they trade at relatively low prices save for a small halo effect from the fourth gen.

As far as latch onto car, hmmm...the E90 M3 as the last NA M3? The GT-R maybe? The issue with this comparison is that these cars are in completely different worlds, price-wise...the Ford was designed to be a plebeian continuation of the Model A, the Bel Air was the top trim line of Chevy’s base car (and therefore GM’s base car), and the Camaro (and Mustang) in the 60s were designed to be price-competitive, albeit with a very long option sheet. The 4th gen Supra became popular for its modifiability and Fast and Furious cameo, but when new it cost more (and had comparable if not better performance than) the Corvette.

My guess is on WRX /EVO, low displacement, turbos AWD
