My new Christmas present.
Took it out for its maiden voyage. It has a 4K camera mounted to a gimbal. Here is the video reformatted to 1080. This will ultimately lead to awesome car stuff.

You’ll have a lot of fun. I have a DJI phantom and it’s hilarious to chase kids playing in the street.
Basically just trolling people with a quadcopter.

They give you a license number, you can use it for multiple drones, but you have to write it somewhere on your drone.

Was it pretty easy to register? Did you have to give a bunch of info or was it more like registering a vehicle? That footage is really stable - nice.

just some basic info, agree to some safety regs, etc. Basically it seems like they just want to make sure theres no excuse of “I didn’t know I shouldn’t have been doing that” like flying in restricted air space or over some major event. If you register, you signed off that you read these safety regulations. If you didn’t register youre getting fined.
