Got to the petrol station on my way to Speedway to grab a pie for lunch,
and there’s a young couple and an older couple with thier cars nose to nose. It was obvious they were unsuccessful in jump starting the younger couples Nissan Sentra so I went over to offer some help.
After trying my much beefier set of jumper leads and still having no luck, I tell the young guy to try starting it in neutral instead of park. (My old Toyota had a dodgy park lockout switch sometimes) chuck it in neutral, crank it and it started right away! Made me feel pretty good that my backyard mechanical experience was put to good use for once.
