My girlfriend got me this Fossil last year. Nothing fancy, but I love it. Supposed to look like an old school aircraft gauge, I think they did a decent job.

Thanks! It’s making me want to learn more about watches, I’d never really seen any that I liked before this one, but now I’ve found more I like.

Yeah it’s a lot like an IWC pilots watch, which costs hell of a lot and doesn’t do anything more! I do have an Omega but I wear a Wenger watch that looks like a Panerai most of the time because I tend to ruin watches and white shirts. Something about reaching into cramped dirty spaces. Honestly I don’t get the need for crazy expensive watches, it’s not like an expensive car that is usually worth the money. Something for people with too much money to do. Sure an expensive car is a way to be noticed for some people, but a rare Ferrari is a bang to drive too. A watch just tells time and sits on your wrist for people to notice. Anyway, yours looks great.

Oh it does, cool! Yeah I’ll take my reasonably price one, I couldn’t really justify spending much on a watch. I jus think of all the other things I could be buying....like a better car. Is that your Wenger? It looks cool, and I’m a fan of leather straps. Thanks!

I really like the look of that one. I have 5 Fossils as of right now and they have all been pretty dependable. I think my oldest one is about 11 or 12 years old by now. Learning about watches can be interesting if you’re the type who doesn’t get easily bored with it. I have 16 total and continue to find them fascinating. Maybe it will turn into something you enjoy too!
