So I’m watching Gonchi on Netflix and it’s about the life of race driver Gonzalo Rodriguez from Uruguay and I’m still yet to find out how it ends becuase I don’t know his story, but theyve been talking to people who have raced with him, Castroneves, Montoya etc. then suddenly Justin Wilson.
it occurs to me that Rodriguez probably died as a result of an accident on track, just like Justin. The feels.
By the way I recommend Gonchi so far.

it’s a really good film, he seems like a he was a national hero to the people of Uruguay. It’s crazy how everyone knows each other in racing, a lot of drivers knew Gonchi and he knew Ayrton Senna’s personal Photographer and the story of how Ayrton and Keith Sutton met is also good one. I’m ashamed to say I’d never heard of him before I saw the film but I was very young when he died and he isn’t spoken about as much as Senna in Europe because he didn’t make it to F1 in the end, I have no doubt that he could have though.
