I wound up selling it :( It was having problems that were beyond my abilities, and I needed money to fund the massive Montreal road trip I did, but I wish I hadn't sold it. I moved and don't have room anyways, so I'll probably try and hunt it down one day, or another 140 at least.

Ah, that sucks. Hope the new owner gets it sorted. They are hard to break though, so you’ll probably be able to find it or another one.

Hopefully. Yeah, it means I could get a 142 instead, and build it into something i really want once I have the money. I have a vision of a de-bumpered 142, with all the IPD suspension goodies, and either an old school rally style B20, or a built B23. Something along these lines
I feel like the 140 deserves more love

Yep, those are quite common builds here. A B20 with double carbs and changed cam is the proper engine. I’d probably do something like that to mine if it wasn’t all original.

I was thinking of something like that for my 144, they sound so good with webers and a cam
