Do you have cold feet when it comes to driving? Just toss your socks in the microwave and you can enjoy a nice, warm pair of toe mittens in just seconds. That’s right, in just seconds! Richard Petty would do it, so why don’t you?!

Nice, wool socks work as well.

Our house is older and has heat registers on the floor, my method for warming shoes/socks is to set them on the grating, turn the thermostat up so it kicks on, and let it run for about 5 minutes or so before turning the thermostat down. Works like a charm every time.

The socks are ok, but the styrofoam plate isn’t allowed.

Nice. I use a dryer but same concept. Also if your bed is really cold and have a dryer you can throw a sheet into the dryer for 5 mins, lay under it and layer with a comforter/heavy blanket and it traps the warmth in. Super cozy

Just light them on fire. It’s way more fun.

Nice! I’ll have to use the oven for the comforter. Of course safety is my top priority, I’ll have to find my goggles!

I did that at first but it didn’t go well. I think I might try it again BEFORE I put the socks on. However, the experience did inspire my new workout tapes!

Lol. Have you tried it for real? They don’t actually continue to burn. Just one quick flash to burn off the fuzz and they’re done, no damage.

Have never tried. Even the microwave thing was me just being silly. Looks like I need to take advantage of my opportunities now though!

What about just using the heat in the car lol. I almost always run the feet heater in my car, even in the summer sometimes. But I generally have the top down so having some warmth is important.

Even with remote start I still find the footwell too cold until the engine is really going. I was actually just being goofy with this post and I’m finding out this isn’t nearly as outrageous as I thought it was. I need to get out more I guess.

Yeah my commute is so short that on the coldest days, I have suffered a little without the heat going strong yet. But on some longer drives, I have forgotten the heat was on high until I was literally cooking and the burning sensation reminded me to turn things down a bit. Spirited drive at ~30 degrees and I had to take off layers (top was already down) because of the heat.
