I just called, I’m pretty sure I woke the guy up (9:50a.m.) He said the timing belts are usually pretty good for a long time but didn;t know if it had been done. I explain that i’ve been reading about the TIMING CHAIN, he interrupts no its a timing belt. no history on the car. Ok thanks bye

Np. Make sure there’s a clean title.
The timing chain issue happens to around 30% S4s, always ask if it's been done though.

Does this have that crazy timing chain situation I’ve read about here? If it’s already been done then that totally seems like a solid plan.
