This is looking much nicer than monotone black. Also added some nicer speaker grilles since mine were rusty and broken. I do all of my best work in the bathroom.

Lol agreed, I love me some chocolate brown. And hey the grass is always greener! My Q45 is fast and outrageously comfy but I’m having thoughts of an NA Miata summer car already. I love it but it’s an isolation chamber lol.

Miatas can be made nice. New seats, some sound deadening, and a new top go a LONG way. I have a new soft top on the way and some imitation leather seat covers will be arriving next month as well as some sound deadening and insulation I’ll put under the carpet. Also speakers. I’m trying to figure out how to do speakers.

Clearwater makes replacement speaker sets for the headrest units that are supposedly much better than stock.

I’m trying to sell some car audio equipment. If I can get what I’m asking for these insane subwoofers that should be enough to net me the seat covers, new side mirrors, and insulation and then I can get rocking and rolling on this thing. I’ve got some wheel mods in mind (polish the outer lip to break up the dark paint and the black rubber tire, clearcoat it all for dat shine), and paint my unpainted and discolored valve cover.

My car doesn’t have headrest speakers or the wiring for them. I’ve custom-installed some 6.5” speakers in the rear deck but they’re kinda shitty. I’m going to re-work it for 6x9s because I have some Kicker CS series 3-way 6x9s lying around that are supposedly really good but I’ll probably install them and they’ll sound like ass for whatever reason. At that point I’ll probably toss in the full Concert Sound II component system I have from a salvage Buick LeSabre Limited.
