Did you know you can get free C.L.U.E. Report once a year from LexisNexis? Do you know what a C.L.U.E. Report is?

A CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) Report is a claims information report that contains up to 7 years of personal property claims history and 7 years of personal auto claims history. Your insurance company may use a C.L.U.E. Report to review your claims history and decide if they will offer coverage to you, and how much you will pay for said coverage. Insurance companies believe there is a higher likelihood of you reporting a claim if you have previously reported claims in the past.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act entitles you to a free copy of your C.L.U.E. Report, via mail or electronically. You can use a copy of this report to check for inaccuracies that might be making you pay higher rates to your insurance company, or for your own personal records. I usually use mine when applying for new insurance carriers so I can accurately represent my accident history.
