I bought my first VW Phaeton on 2008, and my Second on 2014. Ever since my first one, I wanted to visit the Crystal Dresden Factory. I’ve planned twice, only to have life destroy the plans.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
However, VW has announced that the Factory will switch to other models and the Phaeton MK-1 will be phased out on March 2016 - until its hybrid replacement comes up for the MK2.
So, any Jalops want to do a last minute trip in Feb to Germany? I’m sad and I want to do this. Who’s with me?

But of course... in Yurup, In Dresden specifically at a dedicated Phaeton factory. What do you think the Popes (Plural) drive? 2006’s? But in the US, we only got them from 04-06

I’ve wanted to go for years. One of the things VW told me when they hired me in 2012 was that I’d have the opportunity to go there for training. Turns out they were just blowing smoke up my ass.

Two but Not at the same time. I sold my 2004 Phaeton on 2012 but went back to one two years later. I wrote about it here. I do know someone with 3 of them and one is a W12 - now that’s love or insanity or both.
