Can someone with a 04-06 xB please take a photo down the fuel filler neck with the gas cap off? I’m having trouble with my xB not wanting to fill without splashing back & I suspect something is plugging the filler neck. I was hoping for a photos of one that isn’t having this problem so I can compare.

I’ll try when I get home, but that’s almost 8 hours from now

That’s fine, I’m in no big rush.

Sometimes a pressure difference can screw up the anti-siphon valve. Has the car recently undergone a large change in altitude?

Nope. It threw a p0442(Evap System Leak Detected) code, I cleared it then the next time I went to fill it I couldn’t fill at anything but the slowest speed and even them if would splash back and stop the pump. Since then it has been randomly throwing code p0441(Evap System Incorrect Purge Flow), been hard to fill and sometimes bucks when driving right after filling the tank.
When I look down the fill neck there is no flapper for the hole where the nozzle goes and I *think* I see something that might be that flapper just around the bend in the pipe. My suspicion is there is supposed to be a flapper there, it came loose somehow and is wedged in the fill pipe mostly blocking flow. The splashing back gas is getting down one of the smaller vent tubes and causing the purge valve code and other issue because gas is getting where it shouldn’t.

The bucking thing sounds like a fuel interruption to the engine.

Sorry, completely forgot. This is the best my shitty camera could do.

Good enough! Gives me something to compare mine to.

I have not researched your code, but sounds like your charcoal canister has failed.
