Agh, I can’t go a week nowadays without pissing off/offending someone. At least this time, I totally agree with the criticism presented.
Earlier in a post I made, I said that people acting out hateful violence against inanimate objects (cars) for no reason is almost as stupid as racism (or something along these lines, I deleted the thread so nobody else gets offended).
I was only thinking about the physical actions themselves (beating up, burning, destroying, etc) and the fact that such is horrifying, rather than culture, how messed up this country is, and the fact that human life is more valuable than any object. Not to mention ALL of the other factors I ignored. It was such an ignorant thing to say. :(
So I apologize for my really stupid lapse in judgement. And I thank my fellow Oppos for pointing it out.

It speaks well of you that you’re sensitive to other people’s feelings and are willing to change your actions for their sake. But, you have to remember that lots of people in this world look at things differently than you, and many of them these days are overly sensitive. You can’t let them determine your view of yourself. Where you unintentionally cause offense, by all means apologize, but give yourself a break. It’s part of taking care of you. And if you don’t do that, you soon won’t be any good to anyone else.

Sigh, I’m still learning this the hard way. I had a really fucked up October that led to a horrifying November...But my therapist is helping me pull out of it. Namely, we’re working mostly on not beating myself up.
I used to piss people off daily, but now it’s just weekly! Progress! :)
