I’ve wanted a 308 GT4 for the longest time. The wallet was getting into a decent place-in my pocket and not someone else’s-and one of these cars, two years ago, could be had in remarkable and serviced shape, for under $30k. Guess what? !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , the market values have more than doubled in the last two years. Even the fair condition pieces of crap have doubled. That beautiful $28,000 car I would have lovingly jumped on, had things been goinng just a little bit better for me way back when, is now averaging $63k+. Finally the old white male “real Ferrari’s have two seats” A-holes are dying offf and those of us who can appreciate other things are finally finding things like this. I also see this trend in my local real estate market. Our plan is a slightly larger house in five years time and the properties are outpacing that plan, and everyone elses. Can’t catch a break. Can’t escape the rat race. Can’t have nice things. I guess I’ll have to finally put the mini under the knife and restore the sucker.

There was a used car dealer near me that always had some Euro/horsepower bait in showroom. Often a 308 gtb or 80s whaletail. ussually always priced at 29,900. Always dreamed, now I’m sad.
