I’ve got a 15GB account and found out that if I enabled the Camera Roll function on my phone, uploading to OneDrive, I’d get another 15GB. It’s not showing up in my account, and Microsoft’s bonehead support group sent a message saying “Thanks for the suggestion to improve OneDrive. We’ll add it to the list of ideas we’re considering.” Umm, no - it wasn’t a suggestion, it was a request for help getting my additional 15GB you morons.

Microsoft has eliminated the 15GB camera roll bonus:

(They also had said they were moving the free tier from 15GB to 5GB, though they’ve backed off on that I think.)

I knew they were going to reduce it for new users from 15 own to 5GB, so I made sure I still had the 15GB. From the MS website: “

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

So, I had to have the camera roll bonus already? They don’t make it all that clear.

I read it as you keep the camera roll bonus if you already have it, but they still won’t be giving it out to new users. But yeah, not so clear (I don’t get the sense that MS really knows what they are doing here.)

New users I can understand, but I’m not a new user. Yeah, they’re not very clear here, but that’s not without precedence...

You can opt in to keeping your storage and getting the same stuff. Saw something on Lifehacker on it.
