The Focke-Wulf Ta 154 Moskito was Germany’s answer to the legendary de Havilland Mosquito. The geometry and construction were similar. The 154 was also made of wood. Only 50 units were completed prior to the production line being bombed. Top speed was in line with the De Havilland and it was actually a superior climber.

I’ve read that one big problem with the Moskito was that the Germans never got the wood glue right and it had delamination issues.

Schnellbomber! The Mossie was prettier.
