The Chrysler Firepower concept was a thing, a very pretty thing.
It was basically a re-skinned Viper with a then new 6.1 hemi.
I feel like this idea. A more luxurious, softer, Viper based Chrysler GT car using the current 6.4 hemi could save the Viper.
What could’ve been...

Now that is a pretty car. It could’ve been the F-type of its time.

I agree. I see it as an Aston Martin Vanquish or Maserati GranTurismo fighter though.

So...what if current FCA makes this as an Alfa and uses it to capture younger enthusiasts so they can feed into the Maserati GranTurismo when they’re older with more money?
The signature Alfa grille wouldn’t look too bad on the front in my opinion. And those wide front fenders are begging for a quadrifoglio.

Throw the turbo six in instead of the hemi... profit.

Turbo straight six for the base. Then a batshit crazy Zagato collaboration for the Alfa halo car using an Alfa v12?
So, when are we storming FCA and ousting Sergio Marchionne? We’ve got work to do!

It’s like a Jaguar F-type and a Peugeot got it on in the Worst way possible...
And the Viper underneath doesn’t make it right...

Pictured: Zagato Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale
Used a V10, because it was a Viper.

Nah, and this predates the F-Type concept (C-X16) by 6 years. More defined edges/surface than a Peugeot.

I know, I know (it’s based off the last gen Viper, not the current 6.4L btw)... but I’m calling it like I see it. And I’m seeing the overall profile of the Jag, with the gaping mouth of the Pug... with the long hood of the Merc SLS, now that I look at it (and the Merc was inspired-erived from the Viper as well, so... reasoning!)

Yep, it’s a last-gen Viper as it’s from 2005. I’m not sure what you’re saying about the motor? I can see some Pug in it, but I see a lot more Crossfire (Merc based) and ME Four-Twelve.

Such a pity it didn’t get built. It’s like Frank Sinatra went splat on the front of it
That's gonna leave a mark!

Reminds me of the Crossfire updated. I mean it looks good but I keep seeing the Crossfire. Sort of like seeing a hot girl that reminds you of your mom when she was young.

Chrysler had some seriously cool concept cars in the middle of the 2000s. The ME412 was also gorgeous

I also like the “ Razor” concept.. Dodge had some good ideas at the time but in the end we got “poop”

This is the kind of platform-sharing Dodge/Chrysler needed to do, not swap badges on Neons.
I really like this car, but for me, I’d want to swap out all the chrome pieces, mainly the grille and the wheels.
