Been there since at least 2011, in that same spot. Even now, it’s still there today, having not moved an inch since.

the shop is still there? do buildings often move, even an inch?

any particular reason for pointing out this specific autobody shop?
![]() 12/09/2015 at 12:21 |

Well we wouldn’t really expect the shop to pick up and move without some notice, would we?

I’m not sure what’s so noteworthy about a building being stationary for four years.

I’m pretty sure I’ve had a “weight loss tips” bookmark for a similar amount of time and gained weight during those four years.
Seriously, though - are you talking about the Bimmers on the street or the Audi wagon on the sidewalk?

No, smartass. I suppose we wouldn't.

You're actually being serious, you didn't look in the garage of the shop.

On the West Coast, sure.

Two Coke trucks on the street?! Seems really inefficient.

Inside the shop, there’s a magical 911 that secretly eats a lot of oil, leading the shop’s lowly mechanic to see out and steal oil to keep the beast satisfied. They sing some songs about it. And the girl he likes is into a dude with a motorcycle. 2 wheels bad!

It looks like... a 964? I can't really tell. Has it actually been suspended on the lift the whole time? Maybe their lift has been broken for 4 years (or more).

I’ve walked by there a few times, they’ve got some cool stuff inside, and usually a few old Mercs outside

It’s a first gen 911.... It’s been suspended on that lift since 2011.

That’s a real shame; I wonder if it’ll ever be fixed at this rate. If it’s in half-decent shape (although that’s debatable with it being in the shop for 4+ years) I’m sure someone would be willing to buy it.
This just raises many questions that I’ll never have answered.

I was even more mesmerized by the E60 wag, E39 M5, and the Audi, because dream garage

Zoom in really close. Whatever is behind it has dust on it as well. Looks kinda like Porsches wheels. Not sure though

In the context of your post, that’s what it sounded like you were referring to.

Fair enough...
Sorry for snapping, however, I always assume you intend to troll or insult me most of the time...

That's an unfair assumption. Do you know what happens when you assume?

Dumb question: how do I know the street view isn't from 2011?
