Silver is an interesting paint choice on a car. It manages to look “not too bad” no matter how dirty it is, then you forget what it looked like clean until you one day get the motivation to actually wash the damn thing and it shines like a lump of silver. Yay for early 90s single-stage metallic silver paint! Also a better look at how everything is with my spaced wheels. I need to pull apart the front end and figure out why the lights and bumper fit so awful. I’ve got the panel gaps of a 90s GM product.

Nope. No poke. Still inset about a quarter inch on the rear.

White is good, too. I say this because white doesn’t get (easily) seen water spots.

It’s also usually the cheapest paint color.

Looking good. Its a shame that silver doesn’t show off hard work well.
My rx8 is silver and I’ve been doing a 4-stage polish panel by panel throughout the winter whilenits parked. It looks nice, but I was expecting more for the work I am putting in.

I love steel wheels, as long as they don’t have friggin hub caps on them and are not rusted. Preferably painted black.

I see the weirdest optioned cars at the dealership. Base everything, winder windows, base radio... but it has bluetooth. Or a backup camera. I saw a fricken 2008 Impala with a factory radio delete. No radio, no speakers. The grilles were empty, and in the radio’s place was a plastic panel with a clock in the middle. It was bizarre.

Keeping my Miata clean in the winter is gonna be difficult but oh so important. I will certainly have the cleanest car at the ski mountains though!
