Garbage is one of my favorite bands ever...I grew listening to them...but I’m not a fan of that song. And it’s nowhere near the top for me.
At the top for me is GoldenEye , Skyfall , and Thunderball .

Goldfinger. Shirley Bassey had a hell of voice.

Skyfall is such a good song.

I watched The Spy Who Loved Me only this year around the same time as some other old Bonds. I watched him fall off that cliff with anticipation, knowing that the plot could turn to incredulity in a second. Knowing that how they handled his surviving that fall could make or break the tone of the film.
The Union Jack ‘chute deployed: pure Bond, pure class and purely believable, and it faded into this song. The song is perfect, charming and delivered so well. And the rest of the movie was awesome.
Will never forget

1. Carly Simon, Nobody Does It Better
2. Paul McCartney, Live and Let Die

No contest.
Though View to a Kill is a great one, too.

It just blows me away..so powerful. I also really like “Writing’s on the Wall”, which is a completely contrasting style. I don’t get the hate, it’s a beautiful track. It echoes some of the more subtle and quieter theme songs.

If we’re sticking with just the movies, Goldeneye. Otherwise:

Although technically not a song, not being sung, the main theme to On Her Majesty’s Secret Service by a mile.
Then a tie between Live and Let Die and You Know My Name. (Say what you want about Chris Cornell, I just think David Arnold wrote the perfect chart for a series reboot.)

As someone who was a kid in the 80’s, I agree.
Also, Duran Duran just announced a show at COTA today.

That’s my favorite 007 game.

Worst Bond film, best theme:
Spectre was surprisingly great too.

I’m glad someone else thinks Quantum of Solace was the worst Bond flick.

It’s 106 minutes of nothing. As I remember, there was more Ford product placement than there was plot.

Skyfall. That is all.

No one can deny that Adele has a fantastic voice.

Yep. Her live performances are just surreal. I have the hardest time believing she’s actually singing until she switches it up a little during a verse.

That is also my favorite.

Nobody does it better, live and let die, goldfinger, skyfall
Forgot about the The World Is Not Enough. damn. now I’ve listened to it ten times.
I liked the Tomorrow never dies song more than the goldeneye.
