my dad had one of these when i was a kid. in navy blue with tan interior. he was pretty cool back then.

I was 20 in 86, and driving my dad’s 84 Rabbit. Driving the Rabbit and seeing the Scirocco was like dating the girl next door while secretly lusting after her hot sister. Still a beautiful car after 30 years.

My dad had one just like this... That car was so cool. I’d love to find one for myself but they’re so hard to find, and the ones that you can find are usually absolutely trashed. Not to mention there isn’t exactly an abundance of parts for these anymore.

I had a teacher who had one of these in silver. Nice little car and she really enjoyed it.

I’m a big big fan of the Mk2 Scirocco.
