So I got an invitation to go to the Detroit Auto show. However I have to apply with a resume, as they assume you’re job seeking. Seems like a great opportunity. I’m a first year, if any one is curious.

1) If you re-read it carefully, you should bring a resume if you are a senior. So, none necessary, as they are inviting you regardless of your program progress.
2) Industry days are the best way to do the show. Do it.
3) See 2.
4) It’s not like the drive is far anyway.

Or co-op, which I am in. I’ll bring along a resume regardless, but I do not know whether or not to pursue a career within this firm at an early stage.
And yes, it is right across the river. I signed up.

Right. I had no indication from the post that you were in co-op, but that makes sense. That said, I’d bet there are Oppos who have worked at that firm (I think I’ve discerned which one it is), so you might consider asking around.
Have a good time, and good luck!

There’s only one that would ask that school...
Thanks! I think I should have mentioned being in co-op in advance.
