I’m not sure how many of you guys and gals are into Mopars (like me), or Star Wars for that matter (not so much me), but I know you like cars, so just wanted to point out that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! They’re pretty cool, and well done. They don’t take themselves too seriously. I guess I would best describe them as “fun.”

Thanks for posting the actual video. Saves people a click, unless they want to view the other ones too.

The radio jeep commercial drives me nuts.

The star wars theme throughout, and a Star Wars The Force Awakens release date mention in the middle of the commercial, otherwise just all legalese and marketing-speak about new jeeps.

Disney actually paid to co-opt a new car ad to put their movie ad in the middle of it.

Kinja'd!!!

Disney has spun up Star Wars so hard that they have officially become a parody OF A PARODY of their earlier selves.

merchandising, merchandising, where the real money from the film is made.

Mel Brooks had no idea how prophetic this scene was, and how far BEYOND this Star wars is now going. Spaceballs was a parody of Star Wars. Star Wars is now a parody of Spaceballs, of it’s former self.

I mean, seriously... Covergirl makeup, and Kay Jewelers charm beads? SERIOUSLY?

The shark they are jumping here is as big as a star destroyer.

Marketing at Ludicrous Speed... Disney has gone to Plaid, and overshot us by a week and a half.

Dodge could not have pulled this kind of ad without their drastic styling updates. The cars now look sharp and with a very distinctive personality. I would rock a Challenger, and I have never been into American cars.

Now, if they could get their powertrain engineering act together.

If you want a Challenger I don’t foresee you having any gripes with the powertrain.

I can’t say you’re wrong. I guess I’m glad that Star Wars is inconsequential to me, but I also have to be honest that I will rent it some day.

Spaceballs, on the other hand, is the stuff that matters.

Perhaps I’m reading too much on the ChallengerTalk forum, because there seem to be a lot of coolant leaks for a new car.

My day dream is to replace my Honda commuter with a 2015+ Challenger R/T. The case will be hard to present to the wife; the Honda has been running perfectly at 110k miles with no signs of slowing down, and I already have a weekend car.

That is a bit odd, but both the Challenger and the 5.7 Hemi have been on the market for so long that I just have to believe that any common issues that existed have been ironed out by now.
