Obviously Chevy makes the Corvette, but it only wears Corvette badges, not the hideous Bow Tie.

I guess it never sank in until now, but I own a pre-bailout American car made by Chevrolet.

And appropriately enough, it is a rip-off of the Hertz special edition ZHZ Corvette!

They never sold the ZHZ privately or with a manual transmission, but one of the previous owners had it painted to match (or stole the body panels from a real ZHZ).

I thought that GM “mark of excellence” (LOL) badge was the dumbest thing ever.

On one hand, they said they wanted to give their brands a unique identity... and then they stick on a badge that undermined all that.
