Lol. Yeah. My dad technically retired like ten years ago, and he still goes to the office on weekdays. I just drink expensive tequila, fish more than anyone should, spend ungodly amounts of time in the jacuzzi, drive the shit out of my cars, and talk to my dog all day.

But the boredom is a problem, so today, I actually decided to start my own business. I invited some friends over to celebrate, but they all have work tomorrow. Fuck ‘em. I celebrated anyway.

Do you get into scotch and/or bourbon as well? I find anejo tequila to be a close analogue to some of the smokier/peatier scotches I’ve had. If you’re looking for a good book, look up The Drunken Botanist. It gets into all the plants that make up various alcoholic beverages, and the history of the plants and drinks; pretty interesting stuff.
