I’ve got a lead foot, among others. All car related. Shift pattern on my right wrist, “unrestricted autobahn” symbol on my ribs, etc.

I plan on getting tattoos when I get the cash for them, some will be sentimental, some will be stuff that I like or highlight my beliefs and who I am, but I plan on keeping it relatively concealed for the most part. Also going to limit it to the upper chest area and arms as well.

Curious, what do your tattoos mean exactly?

Left shoulder is my “Gear Head”. Wanted something related to my degree in mechanical engineering. I even designed in it SolidWorks too

Right shoulder is my 2014 Vegas to Reno ink, copy of the finishers pin you get

Funny you brought this up, I just got my first one ever on Sunday.

It’s a memorial for my daughter who passed away in July.

It’s a Rose (her middle name) with butterfly wings, and angel wings merged in at the top. This was taken right after it was finished. It’s on my back/shoulder left side.

Holy shit. Losing a daughter, that’s a tough pill to swallow. Very nice homage though. Sorry for your loss, I can’t imagine what we would go through emotionally if we lost one of ours.

She was on her way still when her heart stopped. The whole left side of which didn’t develop. But she was out at about 6 months along in the pregnancy, we held her after she was delivered. It’s one of the reasons why 2015 was the worst year of my life. Very excited for December 31st so I can give 2015 the finger.

Thanks for the kind words and the tattoo compliment. The artist even commented that I went pretty big for a first timer haha.

Well, I certainly didn’t mean to be a downer, I’m happy I’ve got something real nice and cool on me to remind me of her everyday.

And yeah it sucks don’t think about it too much, it’ll definitely bring you down.
