Your mission... if you choose to accept it.
Below, I’ve included a copious amount of photos of vanity plates from Hong Kong.
Your challenge is to have a text message conversation using these photos instead of texts. Comment them in a screenshot below. Best one will earn a minute of my respect.
More are available here:

And they say we here in the US are the ones who are free. Just try and get a non-descript legal license plate like these in any one of our 50 states. You cannot do it.

Some of these are hilarious!
One thing that annoys me about Hong Kong plates is that they are far looser than the UK with the acceptable fonts (I believe the old “BS AU 145a” standard still carried in HK does not specify a font, unlike the updated UK “BS AU 145d”.
Some HK plates have fonts that have no business on a car, either being too unclear or way too goofy. In general, standard plate fonts differ slightly even between car brands. But the worst offenders are the bubbly italic fonts from the aftermarket. It’s an identification document, not your scratch pad.

My favorite is “FAIDILA”. Too bad it wasn’t on a taxi though. That’d be hilarious!
Yeah, some fonts are pretty weird. And some fake German styles too. Blehhhhhh.

No, you didn’t. On the mainland, I’m pretty sure your freedoms go up along with your bank account.

Your Wrong. Murica is the only free country. Ain’t no Masaydes Bens in Communist Chaaana. Hong Kong? Isn’t that like in Japan and we bombed them to bits?

I visited HK some years ago and they told me about this Rolls that has plates “168” Those plates were auctioned off for 100’s of thousands of dollars. 168 when said in Mandarin or Cantonese sounds like Road to riches.
