I can’t stop looking at this.

I think this is exactly how I’d like to spec my M3 once I pull the trigger.

19” ARC-8’s + space gray + GTS style lip = perfection

I just really like that body style, in particular any coupe. I’m a weird one who usually thinks 2-door versions of cars that are also available as 4-doors look silly as 2-doors. But in this case, these things are beautiful. And of course, the M. Mmm indeed.

I feel the same way, I think the A4, C-class, and even econobox cars like the elantra look or looked better as 4 door. I love the idea of an M3 4-door but the E92 just looks so good!

Unless you love the E92 that much more, I’d strongly consider the E90. It’s such a livable car, and the practicality of it may mean that it will make sense to own it longer.

I tell people that I bought a used family sedan (I have three kids). It just happens to have 400+ horsepower, RWD, a manual transmission and a V8 that revs past 8000! =)

The big reason I’d go for an E92 is because there’s a decent chance it will be a second car unless it’s expensive enough for a good example that I need it to be my DD. In that case I’ll go E90, I switched from a coupe to a sedan for my DD and will never go back.

Speaking of which, do you DD yours? Anything to look out for? How’s your experience been?

I daily-ed mine for 2.5 years, and then picked up an old Pathfinder for nasty days and hauling dogs around. I still drive it most days, and I’ve put around 13k a year on mine since I’ve had it. I love the car, and it’s been largely trouble-free. I bought mine with some remaining warranty and was fortunate to catch a bad evaporator before that ran out. I also took care of some worn trim. Other than that, I had one sensor go out that was a few hundred bucks.

Maintenance isn’t cheap, of course, and I’ll have to replace rotors and the clutch (feels strong at 80k) at some point if I hold onto it as long as I’d like to (love the idea of taking it past 200k). I’d just make sure to find one with good service records and that hasn’t seen too much abuse or modification. I got a clean bill of health from a Blackstone oil analysis a little while back, so you might look into that once you pick yours up.

Good luck on your hunt!

You should post a thread with some pictures. I remember you posting about purchasing a Megan I think it was? Exhaust but other than that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a thread about your car. I’d love to see it
