Anderson played his heart out tonight, and it doesn't hurt that Osweiller looks great.

I loved the shit out of that game. Feel bad that Gronk got hurt, but Brock really played well. If he can learn to throw away the ball when necessary...

Osweiler (sic) was a good understudy to a great QB. He only looked OK tonight, just enough to get the W.

His timing needs to get more in sync with the different receivers. He just needs more practice time with them to get used to them and them to him. Until then, he’s gonna be a decent QB only.

The Pats on Offense looked decent at best too. Missing Gronk (although late in the game), Amendola, Lewis, Edelman, and a few others should have hampered them even more than they showed in the game, especially against the best Defense in the whole damn league. They’re still a better team overall than the Broncos.

No, I have no dog in this fight. I’m a Giants fan.

Brock holding on to the ball will be the death of me. Every time, I’m like “throw the ball throw the ball throw the ball THROW THE BALL AIEEEEEEEE!”

What a game! I didn’t think it would play out this way, but I’ll take it.

That shit was The Snow Job 2: Backup QB Boogaloo. Between the marginal calls on Gronk and Chang and the totally obtuse officiating around the surplus timeout, this seemed fishy. Then again, the ever-expanding rulebook and the increasing reliance on replay has brought us to this new era of marginal officiating.

Yea, I’m not mad at all...

Congrats to the Broncos, and Osweiler looks like he may have the stuff, but this one was a farce at the end.

DEMON HOOOOOOOORSE!!! YOU ANSWERED MY PRAYERS! YEAWH!

I’m on the east coast at the moment and so very glad I didn’t walk away. I’ve had a plastic official NFL merch Denver Broncos locker in my closet since I was about 8.

Had Osweiler just a few more snaps (okay more than a few) with that offense it may have been a cleaner game. Had they played the Pats on their turf, with all of their players healthy it mmmay have been a different story

Anderson was great. My main takeaway from the last play of the game is that somehow Chris Collinsworth knew it was going to happen but Matt Patricia and Bill Belichick didn’t.

Congrats on the win. Osweiler looks like a guy who can be an NFL QB...he wasn’t rattled when things went wrong, made some big throws, and generally played well. He had some bad throws, but like Collinsworth said, a lot of that is more unfamiliarity with what guys like to do than Osweiler missing any throws.

I look forward to a playoff rematch where hopefully the Patriots have some more of their defense and a LOT more of their offense available.

You’re not wrong. He hasn’t had enough time to build a rapport with DT and he simply hasn’t played enough over the last 3 years. That’ll come with time, though. You’ll notice he does well with the guys that he’s spent time with on the scout team (Bubba Caldwell, Cody Latimer). He’s doing well with Sanders too.

The Pats are a better team, but the Broncos can beat them if they have to come here in the playoffs. That’s not an unlikely scenario right now.

On a side note, does anyone want to win that division? (NFC East)

Even as a Broncos fan, I have to say that the officiating was definitely against the Pats. Some of those holding/offensive interference calls were reeeaaally stretching it.

Being a Buffalo Bills fan by birth, I fully support any team that beats the patriots.

He’ll learn. Peyton will scold him.
