I fuckin bet it does, cuz ur desperation to get this thing off your lot already tells me people are just lining up around the block to make their offer.
!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!
the car felt cheap. my wife said it felt like driving her Escape which probably isn;t a good think considering the struts are crap, its an 06 with almost 100000 miles.
The second car we tested was this:
!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!
it was far nicer, which probably made the Kia feel even worse. I dont think it had as nice of a ride as the 2012 flex we drove a couple months ago, but the toys were awesome, dual climate, heated seats, tv in back. AWD was a plus, definitely more room behind the 3rd row.
I think the Tribeca is a bit too much. The Kia was more our price but I’d be ok paying a bit more for something that didn;t suck so hard. But I guess it wont really be in our price range, cuz you know, the price goes up tomorrow.

Dude, I had a rental Sorento a couple years ago and it was the worst driving experience I ever had.
Don’t do it to yourself.

How many chillins you got? I didn’t know you were in the market for 3 rows

“The price goes up tomorrow”= “I am lying to you”

How about a Mazda 5?

Everyone knows that the longer a car is on the lot the more expensive it gets....
That’s an automatic cue to get up and walk away.

Buy the Tribeca.
And the first Tribeca I ever saw was in Tribeca. No shit.

the third isn;t far away, my wife brings it up quite frequently.

lol I didn’t even know how to respond to that. He also said “i need the car to add it to this months total” “if you sign today i’ll hold the paperwork until your ready” (i told him I need to sign my new job before i’ll sign a car which is 100% true, I should be signing this week sometime)

its probably the same size if not smaller than the Kia. zero room behind the third row

it was moree than we wanted to spend. i’m gunna look around to see if there is one a bit cheaper around

Ah. As always I will recommend a first gen MDX. Looks good, lasts forever, and the third row is quite usable. My parents have had theirs for 12 years and it has 260k miles and feels as good as day one. Lots of grandkids, you know.

i think i looked for one and it had more miles than what i’m lookin to get for what i’m paying

Room schmoom! Manual transmission! Coolest dad ever.

the chance of a manual for this car = 0. This is for my wife, the FJ60 however.... part of the reason that she gave up fighting the FJ is that I said go pick what you want for this one.

also i’m pretty sure my coolest dad ever award was sold with the WRX.

Tribeca is a big vehicle - sat in one later at the NY Auto Show. Forester? A friend has one and loves it. And wow - you are spoiled for choice in that category - Acuras, Toyotas, Nissans, even a couple Lexusussssss, and Infinitis.

Family first though. Tis better to have loved and lost...

i’m trying for something with less than 40,000 miles, $20000. third row. We’re going to try a Nissian Quest. If its gunna be a minivan, at least it can look like a spaceship

How can she not be on board with the Land Cruiser? Your children will never be safer or cozier!

for some reason she thinks a vehicle made in ‘89 has a good chance of breaking down and that I will end up having to take her new car to work quite frequently

yea i’m happy I got to have it for a while but damn do I miss that car.
![]() 11/29/2015 at 21:20 |

That’s too bad, because the most reliable Toyotas ever were built between 83 and 97. My ‘89 was so immortal I had to sell it to get rid of it!

My sister has had 3 Town & Countrys in 21 or so years - very few problems with any of them. And some of them come with serious kit - screens in the back for the kids, all sorts of options. Might be worth a look.

someone else said those. i’d have a hard time. My family had one in the mid 90’s and it got a new trans every year. the dealer was the worst as well. it would be hard to forget about that.

Yeah, that’s a difficult record to overcome. The sister had no such problems, so maybe from someone you know who has kept the vehicle up. I’d suggest a Dodge Caravan as an alternative, but that’s a tired joke. Toyota Sienna dead reliable and older ones w/ AWD. That might be the ticket.

The third isn't far away as in you've created it and it needs to bake for a while or you've yet to create it but the misses is rather insistent on it?
