A Chrysler Ypsilon. Sergio whatshisname had the idea of selling Lancias badged as Chryslers outside Italy and Chryslers badged as Lancias in Italy. Didn’t work out and we’re now Chrysler free.

Funny, I just watched the Top Gear episode where they talk about this during “The News.”

Them as well. Lancia are now reduced to just the Ypsilon, sold only in Italy. They’re quite popular there as it happens.

I saw this car when I checked out Chrysler’s British website a couple of years ago. I didn’t know they were that rare.

I can imagine a small native car would do well.

I just wish Lancia had a similar vehicle to the Fiat 124 Spider.

I love me some 1950s Lancia Spider.

They’re going to be even rarer.

Only a handful of rhd Ypsilons were ever made. They used to sell something called the Chrysler 200 as well but sales were similar to the Ypsilon.

The Italians like their Ypsiloni but what they really, really like is the Mk1 Panda. They’re everywhere.

It’s been a fair few years since I was last in Italy but ye’, small Fiats and Ford Fiestas were the main things on the road.
