For future reference, there is little point in doing an alignment if you have a bad tie rod... it’s a waste of money because you’ll have to do an alignment again once you get the tie rod replaced.

You should have gotten the tie rod fixed and then had the alignment done.

Oh sure... the dealer said it’ll be ‘fine’... it’s not their money that is getting wasted on something pointless.

The person at the dealership should have known better... or maybe they do which would put them into ‘stealership’ territory.
