Well, the festivities are over, and its back to work for ONE WHOLE DAY of... not much to do. Seems like everyone is out nursing a Turkey Hangover, out Black Friday shopping, or is at home bawling their eyes out because the Packers fucked it last night. Unless you’re a Bears fan. Then.... why are you a Bears fan?
So who else is stuck at work for the day? Surely there are those that work in retail and can’t speak up as they’re stuck with a line of 40 people saving 20% off already inflated retail on some crap they don’t need and won’t be appreciated by the receiver.

I left my retail job in September. Although I am stuck at work sending letters and writing reports, and least I’m not stuck in automotive retail hell during Black Friday. And yes, Black Friday is very much a big deal here in Canada, too.

Managed to get Friday off.
Am eagerly awaiting onslaught of email and voicemail when I return on Monday.

I am here for a few more hours. Then something else I know not what. Hopefully cleaning out my garage.

That had to be a tough pill for Packers fans to swallow. I mean, retiring Farvre’s number, Bart Starr dropping in for a visit, and the Bears somehow bumbling their way to a victory.
Ouch!

Howdy. Stuck at work all day as a server at a small pizza/Italian place. Dead. Will be dead all day. Everyone just cooked and has tons of leftovers.

Unfortunately people do not stop having wrecks just because it is a holiday, thus I am at work.

Work til 5 or so and then going home to find out if I did in fact blow my main fuse and then try and find a new one to replace it in 0 degree weather because I'm a fucking idiot.

I’m at work, but Black Friday really isn’t a thing to my company. Consequently, it’s slow as Hell. I’ve used the past 3 hours to upgrade to Windows 10 and get it working with everything else again.

I always plan ahead and ask for the day before and day after Thanksgiving off, so I’m getting ready to go run some errands and go for a drive. I’ve worked those days a couple times, but we’re always so slow those days that I’d rather do nothing at home instead of at work. I usually volunteer to work other holidays instead.

Sorry about the Packers. But...Deeetroit. Yeah.

Taking out my turbo inlet to tighten some fuel line clamps and accidentally touched a screwdriver to my alternator. Thought nothing of it and my car wouldn’t start this morning even after trying to jump it and trickle charge it. Never had any clicking from the starter or any power whatsoever in the cabin, mileage readout wasn’t there, no lights. Hoping it’s just a fuse and that I can get the proper one quickly.

Seriously. I usually don’t do that unless I’m actually working on something with electricity running through it. That’s probably going to change now
