This is what builds a lasting relationship. I did however lock the hubs on the Isuzu just in case I need to engage 4WD.

Huurmph. My girlfriend says that one of her life goals is never owning a car.

We can’t all be perfect.

My wife does not into sliding, but she does drive a manual diesel wagon...so that’s something.

Don’t worry, someday you will have kids, and be able to get her a Mazda5 like me :P

Who knows if she will like driving at any point though.

Nice. My first vehicle was a ‘91 Trooper XS with the GM 2.8 V6. Loved that thing. I didn’t have manually locking hubs, but I do remember having to stop to put it in 4WD, then having to stop, shift back to 2WD and back up about 30 feet to unlock them.

My wife drives an AWD manual wagon, not diesel though.

This is good stuff, we regestered at Macy’s because we hate going to department stores and buying towels, and plates and stuff.

That is a good point, and LOL because I wrote that months ago and we still haven’t gotten a toaster...

That's awesome. You can't really tell which was said by the husband and which is the wife of you just happened upon this.

But really, how do you live without a toaster?

I mean what do you have for breakfast on weekends?

Do you hate bacon and eggs or somehow eat them without toast?

Yeah there was a really good selection near me, found one that looked promising and it was even better in person than in pictures. Owner is a car guy and kept great records, got it inspected yesterday (the mechanic owns a super nice V12 850, and a maseratti quattroporte!) and we are signing papers this afternoon.

I do hate eggs, but I eat my bacon with a side of bacon and coffee. Or biscuits, crescent rolls, pancakes, etc. We also go out for brunch a lot.

I also grew up without a microwave so I still don’t think to use it and prefer popping kernels on the stovetop.

I could have a nice set of autocross tires every year if I would stop going out to brunch
