Concord stereos? Back in the ‘80s this was pretty much as good as you could get, at least at normal outlets. Alpine if you couldn’t afford Concord, and Kenwood if you couldn’t afford Alpine (I’m leaving out Blaupunkt and Becker since they weren’t at the normal channels). I had Kenwood and Yamaha gear, and never really stepped up to the big leagues.

So, what ever became of Concord?

Had t heard of them before. I remember Alpine being the shit and Pioneer being for mere mortals (had Pioneer 6x9’s in my Mustang). Then there was Jensen and airs oncomouse “loud, but not necessarily good”’crowd.

IIRC Concord was the automotive unit of Harmon Kardon.
