It’s the SJCAM 5000 as you can see..
It’s specs are almost identical to a GoPro Hero 2. It records at 1080P (1920x1080) at 30FPS, has a 2” rear LCD screen, and 14mp.
It came with a 32 gig SD card, waterproof case, a myriad of attachment accessories, 2 extra batteries and a standalone charger. All in it was under $100!
I haven’t tried it yet. It’s dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home so the fun has to wait until Friday. I’ll strap it to the Trike and take a quick run after the food hangover subsides.
A side note; Amazon is awesome! I put the order in at 9pm Saturday and this thing showed up Sunday at 4pm. I certainly didn’t need it “Same Day” but it was a free option and I figured it was worth a shot!

Very cool. A friend of mine got a cheap action cam on ebay for <$25, we called it the “SlowPro” and it definitely has the Don’t-care-if-it-gets-trashed fun factor to it. Yours seems like it should actually make decent video, too!

I wanted to get one of those Ebay cams. I had a bad experience with an Ebay “Galaxy S5” that kept me from pulling the trigger.
How has the Slo Pro held up?

Shipping was free. Kinda. It was part of the “free” Prime trial.

He doesn’t use it much as far as I know, but for the bashing I’ve seen it take when in use, I’m surprised it still works
