So as I was pulling into my friends driveway, a plastic accessory(?) belt idler decided to shatter/melt . As a result, I lost alternator, abc/power steering . I can get at the piece with my hand, so at worse we’ll have to remove the radiator. It’s whatever because the car will be going to sleep for winter soon anyways.

Nah, I don't think it'll be too bad.

At worst you’ll have to remove the fan. Don’t even think about venturing down the path of removing the radiator. That’s a task reserved for those stuck in the third level of hell.

Good luck man, that happened to me with my first Saab 900. I had it less than 24 hours when the idler pulley ate itself.

Lol. Is it that bad ?

My condolences. If I ever lost hydraulics like that, the massive infarction from the shock and terror would probably kill me.

They did their job and locked in the upright position, but abc generally isn't cheap. My last bill for it was $3,100

Oh I know. It’s the ABC repair bill that would give me the heart attack.

If I can find a dirt cheap Honda S600... I will have S600^2

You can probably fit it in the trunk and then

If I could star this more...

It take me a full day to R&R an S600 radiator. Bumper, headlights, headlights support brackets, a while bunch of little hose support brackets with fastener locations that will make you wish you lived in a world where cars were never invented. And remember I have a high tolerance for German engineering.
