You have the sound nailed, most new video projects use woefully inadequate sound gear, see DeMuro.

Is that one of Magnus’s cars?

A tease indeed! I’m impressed and can’t wait to see this.

My friend(the other half of FeaturedGarage) is primarily the video person and he’s been doing lots of research and trying to get the right gear. We learned a lot with the filming we did yesterday, especially when it comes to audio. I think we got plenty of usable audio to make this video work but definitely more challenging than we expected.

No, the car is a local enthusiasts build that draws some heavy inspiration from Walker’s cars.

Me either, it was a blast getting all the footage. Now just to wait until Lucas gets done with the editing!

Just from that clip it sounds like you nailed it. I assume it’ll be you as the face of FG then?
Do you know when you expect the video to be up?

Gotcha. I was just wondering with the seats and video tag. Looking forward to the final video!

We’re really trying to make the content stand on its own, we’d prefer to not make FeaturedGarage about us, so other than promoting our work and all we’re trying to stay out of the limelight. Have you checked out our website, FeaturedGarage.com ?
As far as the video getting published goes, we’re trying to decide how we want to go about it. The plan is also to do an article/feature shoot for this car and I’m not sure if we should wait until after for the video or go ahead and get it out there as soon as we can.

Just trying to do some shameless self-promotion with the tags. Who knows, maybe he’ll see it and like it enough to share it for us. ;)

I think that’s a smart move, it’s difficult to manage expectations when everyone is focusing on you and your performance rather than the content.
I hadn’t seen the website, but now I have its bookmarked. It’s got a Petrolicious style vibe and it’s carried off well.
Top quality stuff!

Yeah, especially on the local level that we’re building currently it’s easy for peoples opinions of us on a personal level to influence their ideas on the site, which we definitely don’t want.
Thanks! We’re always open to any kind of suggestions or criticisms on the website or content, ‘Petrolicious for poor people’ was a tag line thrown around a lot when we were trying to decide how we wanted to present content, I’m glad we’re on track!
