Also this is what happens when you make a car with no crumple zones have them.

It looks like something out of beamng.drive

Even knocked the stripe off the C pillar. And what’s up with the leading edge of the glass? It looks warped in some way.

Stripe ends shortly into the quarter panel, and that portion is bent outwards towards the back edge of the door, so it isn’t visible from this angle. Glass is gone and you are seeing a dangling part of the weatherstripping.

Makes sense now. It’s very disorienting when everything is so mangled.

This is why I can’t fully love older cars; they have some terrible deficiencies compared to modern ones. Even a Smart TwoFour has more structural integrity (seriously).

Haha, this picture seems to keep popping up. My parents owned this car when I was a kid, and we sold it shortly before the muscle car prices jumped up. (We have a picture still when the car was parked in our front yard, and collector plates never expire... so... same car.)

It was an actual Judge, had the PHS paperwork. Ram Air III, 4 speed, hide-a-way headlights.

The story I saw online was that it was the owner’s son driving it. He was passing someone near the fair grounds (in town, 30 mph roads), and a car was coming in the oncoming lane... he picked the pole at about 70mph. And (surprisingly) survived. Got busted up, according to what I read, especially in his face and totally shattered legs.

shit if my family owned a classic and the next owner crashed it, I’d go to the hospital and make him wish he died in it....

It definitely is. I deal with insurance claims for damaged/wrecked classics and exotics on a daily basis. So I’ve gotten good at deciphering what a mangled part used to be.
