The Goodwill outlet stopped giving out plastic bags for purchases a while back, so I just got into the habit of grabbing whatever lightweight bag I could find for my items. Thankfully their merchandise selection isn’t what it used to be otherwise I’d be over there more often and filling the spare bathroom with even more of these things. I already keep a large bag of bags in the car and give away as many of these as I can, but it seems to be a losing battle. I guess I’ll just have to re-donate these things before they take over...

I hate these new plastic bag bans in California. We used to recycle the plastic bags as trash bags. I ALWAYS forget to bring my reusable bags into the grocery store from my trunk every time without fail.
Just late night I was going to Target with my friend and I locked the car and started walk towards the store. I then looked back and saw my friend standing next to my trunk. She was waiting for me to open the trunk so we could get the reusable bags but I looked at her like “what’s the matter?” until I realized “oh shit, we need to get that bag from the trunk first!”

I couldn’t handle it if they banned plastic bags here. I use them in my small trash cans, as you said. It’s better to use them instead of buying special, tiny trash bags for small trash cans.

I think the one you’re referring to is actually for channel 9, our local PBS station. So much for having anything retro or cool...
