Yeah, that’s a pink bumper.
Anyone have a spare door?

That should buff right out.
Looks like you’ve got some serious work ahead of you! I’m embarrassed to admit I don’t actually know what the car is, so I’ll have to ask you to edumacate me a bit.

Oh man that thing is awesome. There are no good chroming places around here so I don’t even know where I would start with that bumper.
Looks like it rolls at least, which makes it better than a lot of farmers’ field pulls I’ve seen.

I really like that body style. ‘53 models and the 4 door Fleetline (‘50-’51) look really silly compared to that one.
The door seems to be quite bent but how rusty is the body? The visible rust seems to be mostly in the upper parts which is quite promising. Does it move, roll or run?

Mad props if you turn it into a ratty lowrider or lead sled.

Haven’t tried to push it or start it yet, it’s still in the yard. Few small things of rust underneath my dad will have to weld up, mostly in the floor.

I wanna do gold with scallops I think, and lower it a bit. After that just some performance stuff on the Stovebolt.

I approve.

Sounds like a nice project. Is it going to keep the inline six?

I think so. It was rebuilt before it went to the yard so it shouldn’t be too hard to make run. Then we can do fun 235 Stovebolt performance shit to it.
