I’ve tried posting to oppo a couple times and nothing ends up being posted. Do I need to share them to Kinja after it’s been written?
I’d like to throw some of me more “official” articles up here for feedback occasionally but it doesn’t work if no one can see them ha hah haaaaaaa.
(I also fully realize if no one can see my posts, no one can read this, so BLARGLEAEGRGAGLAGLGE)

You’re right, I can’t see this post.

This is the best kind of irony. But seriously though, will I not see these things on the oppo feed after they are posted simply because I am the author? Is that how this goofy thing works?

It’s just slow. Sometimes I finally see my post five minutes after I publish them.

Thanks, I tried posting something on Monday, literally never saw them come up.

The posts are on Oppo but they’re posted at 2:01 pm (original post time?). If you want to see them at the top of the current page, edit them and change the post time.

Thanks, I did just that. Took a little while figuring that out. Feel kinda dumb

No worries, common mistake, it’s totally logical to expect something to go up at the current time when you click publish. Kinja, however, isn’t always totally logical.

If you save a draft and go back to finish it at a later date the original post time will remain. So make sure you change that our else you'll be publishing in the past. A little backwards if you ask me...
