I really want this. One owner, looks fairly clean, and is a manual. I really want it. I just can not seem to scrape together enough loose change to pick it up.
And I would be willing to bet if I show up with $1,200 cash, I could get it for that or $1,000.

Get a signature loan at the bank?

I would if I didn’t have a loan on my IS300 right now.

IS300! What do you want that Colt for?

Because 4g63t swap, that’s why.

You do know the AWD drivetrain out of a 1st gen Eclipse/Talon is a bolt in right?

Yup. That would be the plan for this once I get garage space ready.

My dad had an 89 Mirage Turbo back in the day. That was a fun car!

If I am not able to get this one, I will look for a good Mirage (original) Turbo later. I owned one awhile back, but it was swapped with a 4g63T. I really want one with the 4g61T in it still. Call me a purist, but I’d rather have it that way.
I also owned one with the NA 4g61 in it, fairly “rare”. I love these little cars.

I have literally never, not even once, seen another Mirage Turbo in person.

You might be “good for it” but you have to pass the test first.

I dated a girl in college who had one of those. It was blue. She was a redhead. The trim matched the wheels. Lovely, lovely ride.
